If you give up your job in the UK and move to NZ what have you got to lose? a bit of money perhaps? Personally I gave up a job that was paying about 3 times what i currently earn here in tauranga....

Cornerstone pub, tauranga for RWC 2007

Would recommend the Cornerstone pub down on the strand in Tauranga for watching the rugby world cup final next sunday. They do a great breakfast. doors open at 7am

foulton hogan do a lot of the road works here. You could also try a company called smithbridge. not sure if they are national but certainly seen them a lot in Tauranga

we regret not bringing sofas, beds, clothes, tools,dining table and chairs. glad we left wardrobes. its all very well starting over again but it is expensive i would say it probably has cost us $60k...

We shifted to NZ Jan 2007 and told them that we were moving and that we wanted to cancel receiving family allowances or whatever you call it. Still to this day we are receiving payments into our UK...
