possibly a 'black and yellow mud dauber' , the common name for the sphecid wasp. They can look pretty scary but rarely sting.

British Airways to Alicante

How long have BA been flying Gatwick to Alicante? I don't know how I missed that. Just booked a flight for next September and it works out cheaper than EasyJet.

Probably to do with if hiring a car you could be faced with up to an hours queue if you don't get here as quickly as possible. I got caught by that once by going with the cheapest hire car option....

When I finally retire I'm planning on spending 1/3 year in spain, 1/3 in UK and 1/3 somewhere else (non EU). I wonder where that would leave me regards as to where my main place of residence would be.
