You can find out what page number you are on by presseing 'menu'.
Of course the number of pages will depend on the size of the print you have selected but it will tell you that you are on page x of how many pages there are.

I am thinking of ordering two Kindles. Can we register them on one Amazon account and download the books to which ever Kindle?

If you order 2, they will both be registered to the account you order them from, so I would assume it would be yes.

Yes. You can register up to 6 kindles on one account. Any books downloaded are automatically made available to the others on the account. They will appear in 'archived books' ready for downloading to the home page when the wi-fi is switched on.

Right, i orderted my kindle on amazon.co.uk to be sent to a uk address. I ahve just had email telling me i can go to my 'manage my kindle' on amazon.com!! so i went there, where it said i could de-register it, so i did.
I now cant work out how to re-register it on amazon.co.uk site so i can start ordering books. Can anyone help me please? (it is still in uk at mo, being posted to me next week).
Thanks.

I don´t understand why you de-registered it? I didn´t do anything with mine except order the books.

hi, i deregistered it from the amazon.com site as that way i would have to get my books from there. I bought via the co.uk site and had sent to a uk address, so it shouldnt have been on .com site in first place.
I want to be able to get my books from co.uk as has been recommended many a time on here.

That's what i would like to know, but more importantly, I want to make sure it can be re-registered on the co.uk account or i will just have to send it back! I dont know if it made a difference that my address registered to the card i used to pay for it on PayPal is a spanish address....?

I paid with my Spanish bank card registered to my Spanish address but the address which is registered on amazon is the delivery address.

Yes, that's what i would expect to happen, as that is exactly what i did...except with mine there is nothing showing on amazon.co.uk only on amazon.com, which is why i have de-registered it with them. it doesnt make any sense.

Rosemary, just go into your kindle account, email them and tell them that you have been erroneously registered on .com, and that you will be purchasing your books in the UK. I think you can actually do it yourself in the account iirc.

They sent me an apologetic message and changed it for me. I dont even know why I ended up on .com, as I ordered with a UK credit card and had it delivered to the UK

In fact, go on to "manage my kindle" and drop down to just above your past orders, and you will see your country. Check that it is set to the UK, and if not then edit it to change to UK. If it shows Spain then you will have been registered to the .com site probably. If it doesnt work then as I said, email them

Thanks Mitzy. I have done that, it said "unknown" in the country bit so I put in the name and address of where it was send to in the UK so now it says UK instead of unknown. Do you know whether this now means that both Kindles will be registered under that one address?
