You will have to show your ID to go through security. And I think you usually have to show it when you are boarding the plane.

You should be able to get a WA state ID card by showing your passport and visa. My husband was able to obtain one.

If you were born outside the US, you can obtain a consular birth abroad certificate - FS-240.

We sent ours in on May 12th, it was delievered on the 14th. They have not cashed our checks and we have yet to reaceive an NOA. From what I've been reading, it's taking a little over a month.

My situation was that I was not born in the USA but Germany when my dad was in the military. So my German birth certificate wouldn't work as proof of citizenship. I had to go through the archives...

Congrats!!
Our I-129F was approved in July out of Nebraska and it took almost a month from the file being transferred to Nebraska, to NVC and then on to London.

Each state has it's own set of rules for getting a driver's license. I know that Washington State requires an EAD before you can get a driver's license.

Actually I had my fiance send the immigration forms with delivery confirmation and we tracked throug the Royal Mail that the forms were indeed delivered.
