Go through the .co.uk site instead of the .ca/.com and the insurance will be included in the price. Always boook my car that way when I go back with no issues and I usually use Enterprise.

I have an app called Tune in Radio on my ipad and i phone.

You can listen to radio all around the world. The one downside is no footie commentary, as the BBC block it.

You can also check out the Calgary British Expats Meet Up group on meetup.com We get together quite regularly now and they do do stuff during the day. Also they are open to suggestions.
