As far as I know the dialing code is 00 61 then the area code for Perth, dropping the 0.

Theres truck loads of jobs for tradesmen in Queensland, as a plumber you'll need to get a licence before you can get a job. This can take some time, and will certainly involve a TAFE (college)...
