All the boxes came today from Crown Relo. have got loads and paper to wrap. i am just filling in the paperwork for them to post tomorrow with payment and sorting the insurance out with Letton Percival... Doing my head in, Daniel split his head open today. Was in A&E for nearly 3 hours and had the fire brigade escort us all the way as the traffic was a nightmare..... BARMY day! He went missing yesterday for 10 mins too.. he's grounded for 2wks and his new name is Indiana Jones!!! (he is 22mths!) Gonna have probs with him when he's older i bet...

Thanks hon! I'm celebrating the last 2 days with wine and roses chocs!! fell off the wagon today, am comfort eating!

With regards to crown stuff, you can self pack but they are doing drawers and LCD's. i'm not having their insurance so that might've swung it???? Try them again and say your friend is using them and is self packing. I've got the Leeds office. had a rocky start (due to my hormones) but they have since been fab! spoke to migrate global and realised how pro crown are...

Thankyou for your kind wishes. He's ok just looked worse cos he blead like a good un!! It was yesterday that was worse... he slipped out the door as i was getting Joshy out of the car at lunchtime. I came in and locked the poor blighter out thinking he'd gone in the playroom... cant believe i didnt know and he was gone for 10 whole mins!!! He wasnt even upset though...

Take care chick! xx S-j xx

Hi Kels,

We exchanged a few weeks ago with completion set for the 15th October (we fly on the 18th). Don't worry though - on our last house we exchanged and completed on the same day!!

I can't believe how quickly the time is going by - I thought we had loads of time to sort things out - now I am panicking that we will be ready when the shippers come next Thursday!

Hi Sammyg,

We want to go before xmas but that is looking less likely as time goes on.

I work for myself, so can go very quickly, and my wife has saved hols so can leave with 1 weeks notice.

Just the house to sell.

Be careful about shipping through a company. A friend of mine moved back from overseas using the company shippers, and ended up regretting it. The stuff he shipped wasn't insured properly on the company's marine insurance, and damage was caused by water during transportation. The clearance at the port had to be done in person, and it was a regret that he didn't use a specialist firm. Yours will probably be fine, but just ask about the insurance etc before you consider it a bargain. I worked for a retail company, and you would be amazed at the amount of containers that arrive with damage during transportation. Just be wary!

Cheers,
Kenny

Hope the little one is soon feeling better........ Lets hope that he learns his lesson with being grounded.... LOL although, I doubt it, boys are so much worse than girls.

My little lad decided to kick his way out of cot at 22 months, went into his room to see what all noise was about and he was sitting on his bedroom floor with all the cot slats around him. From then on in it has been mischief all the way. (Then again I wouldn't have him any other way.)

Enjoy your last few days and try not to cry too much when you leave.

Regards
