Hi Karen,

I think from looking at the Delays at the LCU thread they are taking about 6-8 weeks processing meds for PR visas.

Way hey

Some news at last!!

I think i would call them. Once when stu rang he spoke to a bit of an arsehole but i rang once and the girl was really helpful she ended up looking into our case and telling us what was going on.

The number was the main one if you've already submitted an application. You have to wait on a recorded line that tells you how many emails and calls they get a day...listen carefully to it cause it's shocking

Good luck hun

Hi Guys

Just an update for now, as you know last week, we contacted our agent to chase things up and it turned out they now wanted a PC for Scotland for my oh. We argued back and forth and tried to get around it but the Co was having none of it.

Anyway the Co decided to be prompt for once in her life and emailed our agent saying that as Gordon had worked in Scotland, he had to have a PC. So, I spent yesterday going around the houses trying to sort things out. Finally got through to a fantastic lady in Grampian police, who promised to do the clearance for me in a day.......... Yes, guys a day, talk about being lost for words (well it does happy to us woman ). I quickly got all the paperwork together and sent it off yesterday. One phone call this morning and she confirmed that she had received it and it will be in the post tonight. So keep your fingers crossed for me and hope we will get it in the morning and email it off to our agent. Then maybe then if all goes well, we just might get a decision next week.

Lesley-ann

Ps Is it just me or has the visa grants going a bit slow this week?
