About 2.5K GBP in 2001 which we used to open bank accounts, but we had a job lined up with 1 months accom. and we had no kids then, we now have 3.

with those circumstances, It would appear to be a very risky enterprise to move lock stock and barrel to Australia. What you have there in France, I'm sure many people would gladly swap...

yeah, prevaling winds over Asia , but the range/endurance/speed could push the time spent in the aluminum tube to well over 30 hours, not fun at all

QF did it direct as a promotional stunt a few years ago in a 74 4 series I think.......... with the physical configuration of the a/c stripped (i.e. no seats), no cargo , no pantry, minimum water...
