Many of the nursing homes here require you to have the qualification before they will hire. However, there are circumstances where it's not necessary if they're struggling to employ qualified staff....

I have two just now, a cartoon dragon on my upper right arm which I've had 18 years and my son's name on my left wrist which I had 2 years ago. I don't regret either.

I'm 41 and in 30 years time...

Nova Scotia - One Year On

One year tomorrow since we (partner, son and I) flew into Halifax and a new life.

Everything we knew about Nova Scotia was from the internet, lack of funds had prevented a recce to 'get to know...

Well I live in Nova Scotia but I have no experience of any of your first 3 points:

1- Cost of Living in Greater Halifax Area, rent wise 1-2 bedroom, ...house I rent a 2 bedroom house by the river...

We got this one from Canadian Tire, it says Region 1 on the box but it plays all our UK DVDs just fine with no hacking required :)

When my goods arrived in Halifax the Immigration Officer there was disgusted that they hadn't properly...
