Anyone know where I can find a region hack code for a Telefunken tel6C05 dvd vcr combo please.

I have hunted the net and links don't seem to go anywhere.

Correction.
I tried again. It was exactly as the hack instructions said. There was nothing to indicate such a feature existed and, for some reason, the machine didn't always indicate it had received the input.

It also needed 2 or 3 attempts before it played successfully. Region 0 didn't work at all but Region 4 worked on a UK disc and a burned one from Canada, but not a commercial release. So I changed it back to 1.

But now I can watch UK ones without relying on the computer.

I hope.

We ended up buying the Seiki BD660 Blu-ray Player from Walmart a week ago for $79 and hacked it to make it multi-regional and it works brilliantly!!

Plays both Canadian / UK Blu-ray's and DVD's and the picture quality is fantastic! I believe it up-scales DVD's and also plays Dvix, Xvid and many more.

Certainly seems worth every penny so far!!!

We ended up buy 2 of the one's I mentioned in my previous post, well worth the money and although we ended up hacking it as not multi regional as advertised on website it works well with both UK and Canadian DVD's
