We were told that in the UK it had to be a JP or solicitor so I would double check.
I know in Oz a lot of people including police can certify documents

If you have time the bewst place to go is Sim Lim Square, we got fab prices on a camcorder and a laptop.
You also get to claim back the vat/tax at the airport before you fly out to oz...
