Hubby is a floorlayer, we have been here 12 months, he has been working from a fortnight after we arrived. The money is here but you do have to put the hours in to earn it. Same as England really...

We were told that in the UK it had to be a JP or solicitor so I would double check.
I know in Oz a lot of people including police can certify documents

If you have time the bewst place to go is Sim Lim Square, we got fab prices on a camcorder and a laptop.
You also get to claim back the vat/tax at the airport before you fly out to oz...

Ring round a few local solicitors, tell them how many docs you have and ask for a total price.
Pick the cheapest as they will all do the same thing anyway
