Hello all, Just started filling in my TRA just got to get hold of a certificate for some training I had as a printer a couple of years ago and a refernce from my employer. The only thing with the reference is that all my employer can or will put on it is when I started, my position and maybe my current wage. Is this enough for a TRA i'm trying to sort it myself and save some money by not using an agent (more to put towards main visa heehee). Also what is involved in the actual assessment obviously it differs depending on trade but any insight would be a help especially if any printers have done it.

Cheers Richard

Yea, even my best mate is a teacher. I'd read on here that teachers couldn't certify but it must have been for DIMA. I'll get a few copies of this one anyway. Ive ordered my international bankers draft and its going on mon/tues!!! It will be fingers crossed from then on.

I must admit, i think i deserve it!! the sweat, time and agro ive gone through to get it done,(and i'm sure everyone else has) cannot be for nothing surely!

Oh well, we'll see!

Thanks everyone for your help especially Kath n Dale - keep in touch, i'll still be on here twice a day because its addictive and so informative.
Sam

I know how you feel, it took us 8 months to get our TRA together! The TRA is the hardest bit - once that's over with the rest is really straightforward

We were intending on going to Perth, we're not 100% on that any more though since the house prices have risen so dramatically!
