My personal opinion is that opportunities are very limited in Canada these days.

I moved because I wanted more hiking, climbing and skiing which wasnt hard to find and my job paid considerably...

It's just another way for BC government to make money, last year they increased premiums by 5% even though they made a good profit, quite a few of my mates keep their cars on US or AB plates to avoid...

We lived in Canada before Australia we had to drive 2 hours just to get to the next town, 4 hours to the airport or somewhere worth visiting. Now living in Australia on QLD coast everything is close...

You probably won't need one and if you do the employer will pay for it and sort it out, everytime I've done one they only do a Canadian background check, never been asked for one from the other...

Not for Australians, there is no limit plus you can get as many IEC visas as you want as long as you are aged between 18-30.

IMO house rental prices are the exact reasons why they can't find staff, bakers and sushi chefs aren't the kind of staff you want to rehire every season you want long term staff but high rental costs...

Interesting, I didn't know this, I'm moving to Australia to spend time with family it might be a permenant move but not sure yet. I will still be doing 20-30 hours a week for the Canadain company...
