I thought the same but wasn't sure? It wasn't requests for our actual passports.... They asked for copies of the biometric page for all 7 of us and the final PR fees but we have def not had a medical...

Just thought I would update our timeline a little as well.

We have now had an email asking for copies of the biometric pages of our passports and the permanent residency fees for both adults.......

We are pretty much at the very beginning of this process but will add a timeline :)

Short back story is that we came to Canada in June 2012 as temp workers (DH is a nurse) but returned to the uk...

We brought a uk wii and a uk Xbox with us and both work perfectly with both canadian and uk games....... If it helps they are both about a year old.

We are in Gordonhead and the elementary school and middle school are both fantastic.... They are torquay elementary and Gordonhead middle school. Gordonhead is a lovely, family friendly neighbourhood...

Just noticed this post aswell............ We are in Gordonhead and love it so far..... Was def a happy accident for us as we didn't know many areas in victoria at all. It's a beautiful family area...

Ours seem to be ok so far (only 2 weeks into term) but they are in very good schools who has both said that they can be moved if need be....... Callan is a lazy wee sod so I think he will be quite...

We must be in a minority then lol..... Both our school age kids are fairly bright (as most believe their kids are ;)) but we placed them with their peer group. I hope that doing so has helped them...

Do you know who your receiving agents at this side are?...... We have been told it was them who did the damage to our stuff..our friend used gb liners at the same time as us and his receiving agents...

Please don't be too Worried...... We have huge issues with gb liners but the previous poster is correct in saying people with bad experiences shout louder than those who's moves have gone...

Not sure who the britvic lot are?....... We are in Gordonhead which is lovely... And you are so right about the stuff..... They have lost parts of all of our beds....one from each bit...destroyed two...

Thank you ....... I meant we are insured separately from gb liners.... We are with letton Percival.....not that that is any easier....it's becoming a nightmare with them also!

10 days till we leave the UK and begin a new start in Vancouver Island!!. Our visa's came through a few days ago (only took 10 weeks from puting the paperwork in inc a medical as my hubby is a nurse)...

Our LMO was submitted 30th January and we received a positive LMO on the 2nd March :thumbsup::thumbsup:
