Hi Guys,

I've only been on the market two weeks but already it feels very different - I live in small village which is fab but its not for everyone. I really feel for those of you who have had sales slip through your fingers

Has anyone ever been approached by these - cash buyers - buy your house then rent it back to you - a guy has left a leaflet through the door and i got wondering - sure its not a good one but thought i'd ask?

Cheers

WOOHOO!!! Great news - must be contagious in Wales!! Fingers crossed for your Bec. I really hope the combo of new agent and price drop works. (Especially since that's what we've done!LOL)

I know, it's still hard to do though. We are making a loss on this house now. Still onwards and upwards.

I think in the current market, you're very lucky if you don't have to reduce your price by a fair way. We have to had to reduce by far more than we ever planned to but hey, there's a new life waiting for us:

Sam
Thanks Sam. It worked for you - even though it wasn't nice - let's hope it can work for all of us.

Welcome to the WPHS - madness lies this way!

Generally these companies aren't very good. So be warned BUT Amanda and Phil on this thread sold to one and he was pretty good. So you have to judge each one by it's merits. (But usually they are rip off merchants.)

Good luck.

Looks like the price reduction was a good idea!
Wow Fly Away, that sounds very promising, will keep my fingers crossed that you get a good offer

Well, we have another drama with our house sale, looks like we may have breached a covenant in our lease

We live on an open plan estate, everyone has a lawn at the front and a few plants in front of that. According to this covenant, we are not allowed to plant any shrubs in this bit of land. To be honest, there were plants there when we moved in and all we have done is replace them but some have grown quite big. Looks like another call to CPL in the morning (dreading that) to see what we do now

Will this nightmare ever end?? :curse:Time to hit the wine I think!

Wow Nic that is fantastic news, he seems really keen. Could he give a massive deposit? Do you want to wait till October though.
