I recently priced car hire up for some clients from a company we use at the airport and it was $175 for a week in a 3 door or station wagon (estate) was $343 free car seats for the kids.

In Victoria, yes you can, we had to do it when we purchased a property, the new owner can serve a notice to vacate. If they want to live in the property themselves then it has to be a 60 day notice....
