My wife was delayed on a Monarch flight from Gib to Manchester yesterday by 3 hours 20 minutes .... No explanation given by Monarch. ..

Why "invest" in the capital and maintenance expenditure to put a load of heck outs in place when you will never use them. Mercadona open additional checkouts whenever they see a queue developing....

Biggest problem is stores like LIDL and Carrefour who have multiple checkouts with only a couple open whilst they let large queues develop. LIDL typically has 6 checkouts with 1 open .... Carrefour...

The TalkTalk service is excellent. We had a problem yesterday evening with our ADSL connection, reported it, they rang back and logged into the router and fixed it.

The interpreters are always about and can be booked on the internal phone. They are excellent and if you are an in-patient, they visit every day to check all OK.
Many of the doctors and nurses also...

Many thanks for your help. Yet another expense in selling ... a Notary to confirm that the mortgage is cleared with the bank ... why isn't a letter from the bank sufficient. Another tax in Spain...

We have paid our mortgage off in full this month. Should the Bank ( Unicaja) give us any documentation confirming that there is now no debt to them associated with the property?

There is a very good vegetable, fish and meat market .... well worth a visit and some nice areas nearby with pedestrian areas and nice shops ... in the high town. All close at around 2pm thru 5pm...

Unfortunately as you are British and he is Spanish, you will probably lose. Normally a prison sentence is given, with/without a fine. For first offence it will probably be suspended for two years. ...
