same here

although the humidity gets to me for a few weeks in summer - hate would be putting it a bit strongly though

Ok Hate maybe a bit strong, what three things do you dislike, there must be some ........

im looking for possible negatives as my family and i are possiblly moving in aug this year. In our minds there are no negatives so far hence this thread.....................

a) I don't live on the costa.

b) When I did I loved it.

Don't really have any dislikes either but if minor irritations will do, I can think of two:

(1) Book spines aren't all printed the same way round so when you're browsing in a bookshop or library you have to keep tilting your head from side to side.

(2) Trousers are always too long and always have to be taken up.



And of course, these aren't specific to the Costa, but general for Spain

I would ask what do you class as the Costa?

Is it within sight of a beach?
Is it in a town with a beach?
Is it within 5 km of the beach?

Etc.

I suspect you are asking the wrong audience. Either people won't live there (and therefore won't comment) or they do live there and, unless they are unable to leave because they can't sell their house or don't have enough money to move elsewhere, will obviously say how much they like it ..........because they live there. Try finding someone who no longer lives there and you might then hear some downsides.

I think of the question slightly differently, poster says "costa", just a general term for the coast, so which costa? CDS we all know, how many of you know the Costa Tropical? Fred of course will as he lives here, but so many costa´s to choose from, Northern Spanish costas are rather different to CDS etc.

Anyway to answer the question, nothing wrong with it. love our costa

Only downside when we lived there was the stupid temperatures in the middle of summer, but then there's aircon for that, otherwise none
