Hi there! Please can anyone advise what the job market is like for Project Managers in Barbados, particularly, but not limited to, the IT sector?

I validated in Nov 06 and have lived here since Oct 07, so think I'm lucky enough to fall into the 2 years because of when I validated....... I hope anyway!

It really depends on what sector you're working in but you should be able to earn anywhere between $100k and $150k plus super plus bonus. I'm an IT Project Manager and landed a job in my second week...

I've been in Sydney 6 months now (funnily enough from Norfolk via London) so can give you my perspective on things!

Rental-wise if you're looking for CBD or near then you are talking about $400...

I used HCM Australia (in Sydney) who were great :D Also, have a look at www.seek.com.au as gives you lots of agencies/links and in my opinion all I've contacted have been v helpful.

I strongly diisagree - they do want you to be in the country first which makes sense, but I got a job within 2 weeks of arriving (in IT) and the agency couldn't have bee more helpful. Also, looking...
