HIFX stated to us that there would be no receiving fees at Australia end of the line. They said if they did charge (as they said that 1 or 2 banks might) we should tell HIFXand they would refund it....

Yep all those.
An Oz Driving Licence is a must to get as soon as you are here. It acts as an ID card too. We used ours to ID us to help open our Bank account.
We brought Car & M/c no claims...

I declared it and also confirmed with NSW police (by email) that i could legally possess it in NSW. I have had no probs....
