Is it just me or have you had finger problems with the tax band for 24% ( 22220 rather than 20200) in cells I43 and I44?

And yes my forecast calculations (never having done one - hence a forecast)...

Loads of these in South Lincolnshire (modern and old stone built homes) especially around Barnack and Stamford, maybe Kings Cliffe and towards Oundle (although that is getting into Northamptonshire)

If that happened in the UK it would be more a sign of the store had concessions and the staff didn't work for the store but for the concession (ie Phillips)

Just a thought. If you have relatives close to the Peterborough area in the UK (there are two others) you can use the Hotpoint outlet store (Indesit, Whirpool and Kitchen Aid) for very cheap cosmetic...

Not Fred.. Exceptions tend to be high risk or occupations which have low retirement ages
Deep sea divers, footballers etc

Nowadays I tend to think of DC drawdown pensions as building society...

Did you ever think of Cyprus? I am trying to decide between Spain (tax nightmare), Portugal (slightly higher property prices) or Cyprus (might be too far away but great for tax and decent rentals)

Where your tax status is unclear because you meet the residency criteria for both Portugal and the UK, residency is determined under the UK-Portugal double tax treaty. This sets out tie-breaker rules...

You might want to also look at Cyprus which has very advantageous tax breaks (and three pin plugs and driving on the left) - but I would also take advice on Property.

Anybody any idea of any waiver time when renting in Spain (before potentially buying) - where your UK house proceeds are not classified for the Wealth Tax and also any liability for Spanish CGT.

myself and somebody else shared the same number for 10 years, the number of interviews I had to go through to get a proper one was unreal

Correct - you inform HMRC that you are tax resident in Portugal and the pension will be paid gross (on a personal non governmental pension ie not a NHS worker etc)
