Re: Land border crossing to the US

Thanks, I have a valid ESTA so that's not a problem. I just wasn't sure if still having the expired I-94 would be.

Re: Land border crossing to the US

Ok, thanks. I'm flying to Vegas in the summer for a holiday and REALLY don't want to be turned away at the airport!

Land border crossing to the US

I went with some friends to Boston in December for the Patriots/Browns NFL game and we drove (long trip!) On our return to Canada I was asked if I wanted to retain the form allowing me to re-enter,...

Thanks guys; I'd never have thought it was that important once...

Re: Shipping a Computer

If it's a laptop then just take it in your carry-on bag and don't mention it. If it's a desktop PC then (unless it's absolute top of the range) it might be quicker and cheaper to buy a reasonable one...

Re: 1 year today

Thanks, but I'm not really a Nacho man; it'll be the Thunder Bay platter I think :)

1 year today

It really doesn't feel like it but it's a year ago today that I boarded a plane in Manchester and landed in Toronto. Fortunately my cousin and his family live in Cambridge so I was able to stay with...

Driving to the USA

Some friends and I are planning a trip to the US for an NFL game later on this year.

I have a UK passport and my Canadian PR card.
I have a valid ESTA from previous visits (where I flew).

Is...

Re: Victoria Day weekend

I ended up spending the weekend trying to deal with Bell "customer service".

Absolute nightmare.

Re: My shipping experience (FedEx)

I've had no problems with Fed Ex from this end.

Mum has found them a pain in the arse to deal with from the UK but once they actually pick the stuff up it gets here in a couple of days.

Re: Curveball Interview questions

What colour of bear lives at the North Pole?

If the weather's decent I'll probably head down to the RBG for a few hours and have a wander around there.

Re: Eurovision Song Contest.

They still vote though, don't they - even if they're not in it.

Croatia will give 12 to Germany and Serbia will give them to Russia. Cyprus will give Greece 12. Not too sure how the rest will play...

Re: Eurovision Song Contest.

So it's NOT on TV over here then?

Not surprising but a shame nonetheless as it's always good for a giggle.

Is it streamed over the eurovision website?

Re: Snooker

He can retire again as champion.

Just make a f***ing decision, man, and stick to it. Your snooker's great but your moaning is boring.
