Default Eurovision Song Contest.

Just wondered if there are any fellow Eurovision fans out there?

Just reviewed all songs and am glad to say I reckon Bonnie has a really good chance.

I also wondered how you get your Eurovision fix if you live in the Tdot area. I am looking to but one of those Sat boxes.

Does anywhere do an organised event ? There are Pings for Corrie fans ...

I am gonna be all alone in Tdot on Eurovision day as my partner does not arrive till June.

If there is not a special event, anyone fancy starting one. Especially if this box works as well as it claims.

I understand (just about) why you may want to say "T Dot" in a real life face to face conversation, but if you must write it, can you not just put " T. " ?

I have been in Toronto on and off for 47 years and have never heard it referred to as Tdot. TO is fairly common usage but not Tdot.

I'm sure sometime in the distant past the Eurovision contest has been shown on TV here but it's not an issue with Canadians or Americans. People here are generally not interested in songs from a variety of European countries when we live on a continent where, IMO,the best pop/rock music is written and produced.
I looked at the list of former winners of the contest since 1956 and recognize almost none of the songs/singers.

We are big fans of Eurovision!

Love the sarcasm from Graham Norton and Terry Wogan before him, lol.

We usually print out big score sheets and comment on them all as they "perform".

I'll need to look into how we are going to watch it this year. It's a lot of fun, don't knock it till you've tried it

Just reminded me of my favourite Euro song in years:

She should have won!

I thought people only watched Eurovision because it is so awful, it's a revelation to me that the music is even considered.

Never really liked Eurovision, made worse by the banal commentary of Wogan (thankfully now put out to pastur) but, it seems even less relevant now that there are so many reality talent contests on television and so many awards show. Indeed television in general is highly highly overrated.
