If the weather's decent I'll probably head down to the RBG for a few hours and have a wander around there.

Apparently I am helping OH pick up a 1970 Challenger, that he won this afternoon on Ebay, this will be amongst the visit to Ikea we didn't have time to do after picking up a '77 Ranchero, last weekend, we will also be doing yard work, interior decorating and a million other things on our list lol. It's gonna be a busy one - I right now am supposed to be popping paint on the bathroom wall ready for the loo to be installed.

But forgot that I made promises to go "camping" - better not rain.

This is part of the "research project" that we're involved in this weekend.

This is my FIRST Victoria Day weekend!!! So I'm not sure what we might do....I suspect a bit of gardening...yes, it's a jungle, perhaps a barbeque (an outdoor grill?) and perhaps, depending on the weather...my first trip to the Canadian seaside from here, which is quite exciting...St. Andrews by the Sea! There is a music festival on, and apparently they have daily seal feeding! Which makes a pleasant change from many of the alternatives

It's our first Victoria Day too! We are going to the Victoria Highland Games...well being Scots it wouldn't seem right not attending! It is apparently the 150th anniversary too. Gotta be better than Tartan Day in Victoria earlier in the Spring. The Caledonia society put on a display of their country dancing. It was nice but it shows that the average age is 68! They had a competition for Scottish dog breeds. I nearly burst out laughing when I saw a Chihuahua being introduced as a Scottish Chihuahua...just because it was dressed in a tartan jacket! I am eagerly awaiting the dog show at the Highland Games!
