We've changed all our plans now to include....wearing of insulated rubber boots, turning up of thermostat and huddling together for warmth....I'm just loving this Canadian spring

Does the new lens come with a zoom function?
Seriously hope the recovery goes well
Cataract surgery is one of the modern marvels of surgery , so routine now but such a life changer for people with severe cataracts

If the weather is nice and damp, I'll be playing my bagpipes on the beach. I expect most other people around here will be hacking down the jungles in their gardens, sticking duct tape on the holes in their their boats, or burning sausages in their backyards so I'll have the place all to myself. Who was Victoria anyway? Vaguely recall she had something to do with Billy Connolly but he's a lot more famous.

In the intervening 20 odd years the lead guitarist had also taken up the bagpipes.
We had the whole neighbourhood out listening to us all night, but god knows what they thought of it all.

Novo, hope your recovery is going well.
On another note, daughters cadet band is changing from whatever they call it to a pipe and drum band, she will be taking possession of the little practice thingy in the next few weeks, so she can learn the basics over the summer, so she can help teach in september. The dog is terrified of the clarinet, god alone knows what he'll make of pipes

We've been informed there is no happy hour at the Serbian club because it's Victoria Day. Rah.

We spent most of Victoria Day on the road. It's a long way from Chicoutimi to Gatineau, even though there are no traffic lights between the two. None.
Chicoutimi is weird. It shouldn't be there.
