Can you believe on Idaho Day ( Worldwide Day to tackle phobia against all LGBT people) Turkey cancels both Eurovision Semi and final due to lesbian kiss.

The performer of the song put the kiss in to campaign against her own countries (Finland's) opposition to Gay Marriage.

An Islamic country with an increasingly religion-centred government getting hot and bothered about homosexuality?

Actually, yeah I can believe that.

Well that would be far more entertaining than the clips they normally show between the songs.

Best finish in a number of years - you could tell from the first note how strained her voice was ... apparently also for some stupid reason, she was belting the song out full blast at all the rehearsals. As a producer, myself of musicals - its a well known fact that it is better for someone to "walk" the song/show in rehearsals (of which there are many for Eurovision) and then leave the real force of the performance for the tech and opening night / main show. Bonnie should have insisted this herself.

However ... my favouite song was justly the winner, have won a bit of money there, not much but a bit.

Proud this year I managed to pole a first place position, a mid table finisher and the last place. Sadly, it was Ireland's performance that got them bottom finish! He was young and sadly not charismatic enough.

Voting was much more exciting this year, than for many .
