In case anyone is interested. One option is to find someone with Setanta sports and they can pay per view for $35.

The game is then apparently broadcast live on 210 for Setanta subscribers.

We have just been insured via Canadasure, I don't think you will get cheaper, abd best of all they give you $2,000,000 cover for your medical emergencies, which is way higher than through the BC...

I tried my VHS the other day and the picture would not hold on my TV, I thought it must be due to PAL/NTSC, but from what you say it seems that should not be a problem. Is that correct?

That is right. If you have the rabies done this end, the Defra Certificate confirms that, (and costs nothing to do), if you don't then when you get to Canada your pet will be vaccinated against...

I know you can apply for citizenship after 3, but what happens if you just want to continue with PR status?

If you take out an Amex card in the UK, prior to leaving for Canada tell them and they will automaically issue you with a Canadian one without any problem.
