You could go to montville if you get through the zoo with time to spare. The views are great, there are some good national parks and waterfalls around the area too.

26 and 27 i will be busy with a work do, how about making it a week night for starters. The Mooloolaba surf club is a starting point and also good food.

The cpr. cert lasts for 12 months, it will take some time before you actually need to produce it so unless it's free I would'nt bother.
