Re: recruitment agent

40 times may be a bit exaggerated however how many out of over 13k adverts on SEEK do have real jobs behind. Any estimation on that? I would love to have a filter which would select only adverts from...

Re: Car Rental

We rented at ACE (http://www.acerentalcars.co.nz/)last year. I think it was around your quoted price ($29 per day for a budget station wagon) but if your Dad finds a $10 option, please let me know.

Re: Vermin

Re: Disgraceful if Overseas Students Allowed to Get Residency in NZ!

Two meat eaters arguing on vegetarians

Of course you're right, except for my upper neighbour. He has chosen not to eat meat (infact anything that has/had eyes) but still bought a leather...

Re: Disgraceful if Overseas Students Allowed to Get Residency in NZ!

This is amazing. There are a lot of British who choose to leave the UK because they believe there are too many immigrants there. And they go to NZ - a pure Immigrant country - becoming immigrants...

Re: IT professional Off shore point calculation

You are. Just prepare 400 bucks (and your credit card). If you are eligible for ITA and PR is another story. We've been able to get 'em all, without job offer, NZ work experience nor NZ education....

Re: exclude dependents

I would not like to be a troublemaker but what do you plan for OH when eventually in NZ? You may or may not get a job that is good enough to get you all through the month. So she may need to...

Re: EOI Before NZQA

You can go the short way and 'save' $750 initially, but I am afraid that the $400 would be wasted too.

Your wife only needs 6.5 if you are using her qualification for 20 points or you would like...

Re: EOI Before NZQA

If your NZ intentions are sincere (and not just "B" plan until you find something better) go for a full NZQA assessment first. There are 2 main reasons:
- you may be able to claim bonus points on...

Re: MIGRATION AGENT OR NOT?

Even then it may be a question. Before we launched on our own, I had asked a couple of agents regarding my eligibility and their service. Their response was ' Yes you are eligible, but you need a job...

Re: ITA possible outcomes

Hi Sam

sorry for late reply. I would refrain from 'if possible' clauses as I had a feeling this is not something COs like to hear. I had some questions pretty much oriented towards my support...

Re: Dire Prognostications!

Obviously euro is in free fall stage. And place still unsold I can just wonder what we will be able to transfer to NZD. Rate is at 1.73.

Re: Dire Prognostications!

Can't comment for pound really, however Greece, Spain, Portugal, etc. are not helping much on euro. So what I considered a poor rate at 2 NZ$ per 1 EUR is now at 1.8 NZ$. And it was 2.5 last year....
