If you think NZ is bad try looking at the UK at the minute... we had notice jsut before we left to say our gas was going from £66 to $95 a month coming into summer, our water bill was hitting £200...

Personally, avoid September its Rugby World Cup, accomdation will be scarce and expensive, flights will be ridiculous to say the least - if you are looking that timescale I would come after world cup...

They are different, AA in NZ is not a broker the same as it is in the UK... So long as you give your proof of no claims you should get the discounts - it is different in NZ - 60% is a full no claims...

Watch the day of week too as this can affect rates Fridays seem to be the worst. we just arranged last week with HIFX to transfer as soon as it hit a preset amount and it did reach it during the day...

have you tried Lady Haye which are closer to you? We are using Golden Arrow and they are fantastic and reasonable, nothing too much trouble, it would be worth a quote as they can collect as well.
