My recommendation is the Gold Coast if not for anything else, the weather and when you have guests over there is plenty for them to do.

Some blocks of land may be cheaper has they are slopping. Be aware, that some builders may not build on land if it has more than a 6m drop. Also your site costs go up as well, so the money you save...

We purchased a top loader washing machine when we first arrived in Australia 2 years ago and the wife hates it. We just about to buy a new front loader and they are priced from about $650 upwards.

Hi we too are building with Coral Homes and had to go with Colorbond roof as it was a stipulation of Stocklands (who be purchased the land from). Now that the roof is on, the colorbond does look good...

I have just spent a week at the Breakfree Peninsula Resort. It is 100m from the beach and the apartments are very good.
