If you are under 31 then i'd suggest going out on a working holiday visa. You can work for the same employer for 6 months but that rule isnt strictly adhered to and being on a WHV isnt going to put...

I'm no expert but my assumption would be that continuing to pay into a UK private pension whilst you are in Australia would create taxation issues or certainly be unfavourable from a taxation...

I should imagine your age might influence such a decision. I know a guy in his 50s who was paying into a private pension in the UK currency fluctuations were a nightmare.

On average the exchange rate over the last 30 years or so has been around 2.4. For what it's worth i would never transfer a final salary pension. Just keep the thing in the UK it'll be index linked...

I will qualify my post by saying while Bondi, Coogee were great i wouldnt want to live there longer term so Northern Beaches are probably better as I think a common misconception for a lot of people...
