I agree the plug in adaptors are just an immediate remedy. We are using them for the hairdryer/ hair straightener girlie things :D I can't do without! Also, kids DS chrgers which they can't do...

Got adaptors yesterday - arrived 2 weeks ago. $10.00 each. Problem solved :)
Everyone will tell you to bring some multi plug sockets from UK - good idea but don't go over the top like we did. Lots...

Just a quick one to say we are finally on our way. Finish packing today and fly from Manchester to Bris in the morning.

Keith, are you taking 40k baggage allowance. If so, do you have to put it in 2 bags (for health and safety / lifting) or can you put it in 1? lou :)
