well. looks like we might not have any choice. the two companies that ship dogs to the UK from DEtroit (BA and NW) require that we use an IPATA pet handler. We just got quoted $3,000.

yes. I'm not too worried about the actual flight (I say that now, of course!) She's crate trained and very comfortable in that set-up (it's a good way to escape the toddlers:))
