Here goes:

Saskatoon is great! It's cold in winter - really cold. Low cost of living means you can save easily. Short, hot summers with lots of mosquitoes. Long, cold winters. Not a lot of snow...

Yes - what you do is go round the rental agencies and pick up their list of properties. They then as you to drive around and "view from kerb" - ie have a look, see if the area is what you're looking...
