Re: Temporary accomodation

If your going to be staying anywhere in NZ for an extending period of time - of course ask for a discount. Most - if not all - motorcamps will give a weekly rate of approx 10 - 20% off regular price...

Re: Itinerary help needed

Hi donnisons,

If you have the luxury of being able to wait a month or 2 for a job then I'd definitely recommend you take your time travelling around - and see the whole country. It will be an...

Re: Global warming and all that jazz - do you give a toss?

The scientists are looking at a generalised pattern of weather over the long term - it is far easier to forecast a trend than the exact weather on any particular day. They are not going to tell you...

Re: Did the earth move for you????!!!!!!

I felt it in my motorhome - like someone rocked it, just once though. I'm in Elsdon camp in Porirua. Perhaps my suspension is a little more sensitive than your house :)

Re: Global warming and all that jazz - do you give a toss?

Exactly - this is where 'green' taxes are totally flawed. If the government is adding to its tax take by charging these taxes - then either they should be reducing taxes on products/services that are...

Re: Global warming and all that jazz - do you give a toss?

I agree to a point here - although I saw the biggest green tax grab in the UK, and none of that tax used to help the environment. Thinking fuel and airfares here...

Re: Help!!! Importing the Car

I looked into exporting my car - and didn't in the end. Shipping the car from Portsmouth to Auckland was going to cost £900, but getting it on a transporter from Edinburgh to Portsmouth £1000! Add-in...

Re: OMG what have we done??

Re: Global warming and all that jazz - do you give a toss?
