Default Camp Site electricity

Hello,

We are planning our first camping trip sometime in November. We brought all of our camping equipment over with us, including a lead for electricity.....what I'm wondering is are the fittings the same here as they are in the UK ? if not does anyone know of a conversion we can use ?

Also just out of interest, anyone with any ideas where to go that has some really good tramping tracks.

Thank you
Annie

Camp sites will insist that you have an approved 10m lead with RCD, like this one.

If you have an existing cable without RCD - check Bunnings or Mitre 10, you can easily fit this yourself, although they are probably about $100 too
