Re: 20L boxes of cream sherry

Where are you looking? I only found white pages with black fonts, and white fonts with black background, but got bored looking after half a dozen or so pages!

For anyone within striking distance...

Re: 20L boxes of cream sherry

I buy creams and pale creams in all the usual supermarkets...Hipercor, Carrefour, Mercadona.

I assumed they were all readily available in Spain but obviously not!

It's wine harvest time at the...

Re: Late IBI Payment

I pay by direct debit monthly and there is a discount incorporated into this. Only about 1.5% or so.

It was 4 years before my first IBI was issued....but there were no fines and they waived the first year so I only had to pay 3.

Re: Late IBI Payment

I don't know if the 'fines' are decided regionally or nationally, but a late payment where I live is only fined about a couple of euros. Nothing to worry about.

Re: Anyone working in Cadiz?

I would like to echo what Agnes says. I am also very near to Cadiz, in Jerez, and there is an abundance of people desperate to learn English but few academies providing the service.

If you are...

Re: english tv in jerez

Have you come across the forum on mycadiz.biz ?

There are lots of British people who post there and they are more local to the Jerez area, although I don't think there are any posters in Jerez...

Re: good loving home needed

Totally agree with you Jo.

And frankly I think that that the FULL story is none of our business anyway. Harley needs a new home and his owner is looking for one. That's all we need to know. ...

European Health Cover Card - for Spanish nationals

I've seen people talking on here about a card that they can get from the NHS in the UK which covers them for healthcare abroad for X years.

I'm assuming the same thing exists for Spanish...

Re: is all spanish dole paid on the 10th of each month?

I'm not too sure about this, but I think you need to fill out a new form to claim the 426 euros because it's a different type of paro....it's not just a continuation of the paro you were receiving...

Re: Guiri With No UK Car Insurance?

Won't that be because she only has Third Party Fire & Theft?

I think Fully Comp insurance would pay out in those circumstances.

I don't think this 10% that is being mentioned is standard at all. At least not on a national level. For example, around here a standard deposit is a fixed €6000 for a cheapish property and it...
