We use to call "general elections" the Presidential ones. The correct word is Presidential.:)

We have a French expats service, depending of the Foreign Affairs ministry, nothing else.

Only the citizen who have French nationality can vote in the general elections in France. The expats can only vote for local elections. Exactly the same as in Spain.

Normally, they are from private people. Sometimes, they are from "professionnals", but no legal at all... A proper real estate or agent's sign is easy to identfy, because at least their name appear...

As I mentioned in a former post, i am totally satisfied with them after quite a few banks accounts, either in Spain, Portugal, France or UK... And I must say it is the first time it happens to me!

Mercadona is on the main road to Portugal when you are driving from the center (or when you drive to the center from Portugal!), next to the BP petrol station. Regards.

After using various banks ( El Monte/Cajasol, Bancaja/Bankia, Santander), I am now with Solbank (Banco Sabadell) and I am totally satisfied. They have the lowest charges, they all speak fluently...
