You can get 1 beds in Beach Tower in West Bay from 7,500 QR a month. It might not be the nicest building in Doha, although I've heard some good things about it, it has sea views, decent gym, outside...

Hi,
You will get a tourist visa upon arrival into the country, nothing is needed beforehand. It will cost 100 or 120 QR and you need to pay by debit / credit card. It'll only be valid for 30 days...

The Exorcist without a doubt. Tried to be cool and watch it with my 16 year old friends when I was just 13. Vomited the whole way through and didn't sleep for a very long time.

When people used to visit me in Dubai I'd always take them to the Souk and they would buy goodies. Once I thought I should buy something too! Proceeded to spend 60 dhs on a small bag of peppercorns...

There are some relatively decent compounds in Old Airport Area, not so great on the greenery front but well priced, decent finishings and not too far from Wakra.
Unsure on the gym and nursery front...

For 7500 you'll be looking at a nice 1 bed or maybe a 2 bed in Al Sadd area. If you want to put a bit towards it yourself you could look to get a studio on the pearl or possibly a 1 bed in West Bay....
