I'm lookin at average daytime high for AD and it says 42 C ; sounds about right?

it doesnt get higher than 49..... although its been 55 in the shade before

I've definitely seen 54 on the car, in the shade, a bit inland.

Problem with your car is that it's a hunk of metal sat in the blazing sun. The official temperature above was taken using proper met equipment, a Stevenson screen sat 1 metre above the ground.

Whereabouts in Dubai do they have these? I’m presuming the airport/s?

Is the hottest temperature in Dubai the hottest that’s been recorded in the UAE?

we have had proper temperatures taking in the shade in the desert and its gone over 50 degrees but unofficially, as if officially then everyone will be sent home!!!
