Re: The Most Racist Countries are...

I am not surprised that France appears very intolerant. France is a very conservative narrow-minded country as a whole unfortunately.

However I do wonder (as they point out in the article) whether...

Re: Sofa beds for the old folk

We've got this one (http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/80184745/) from Ikea and it has been really good. We did buy one of the thickest and therefore more expensive mattress they offered with...

Re: % of wage to spend on rent

Same as us. Currently forking out about 35% of monthly wages for fortnightly mortgage payments. Rent was just under 25% over 3 years ago but in a much smaller house with no garden and in a very...

Re: Small function venues recommendations in Melbourne?

Thanks Jilliebee. It sounds great and would love to do it with a small party, but would be too expensive for what I have in mind this time.:)

Thanks Hebe, but Bayside is indeed a bit too far...

Small function venues recommendations in Melbourne?

Hi Melbourne peeps

I want to celebrate my 40th birthday in some sort of style but without breaking the bank. I was thinking either a sit-down dinner (for about 30 to 40 people) and I shout the...

Re: Bridging visa - 457 to PR?

Re: Relocating to Melbourne. Which suburb?
