Quick question please save me time on the blower re Tiger airlines
Can I take my sons skate board in hand luggage or does it have to go in checked in baggage ?

I flew Tiger to go to Sydney a couple of weeks ago and the only restrictions they had on cabin luggage were on the weight (10kgs max and overall) and the number of pieces (one piece plus one small handbag I think...). Nothing that I could see on size (some people had huge bags most likely empty!) or particular shapes. Disclaimer: I did not try to take a skateboard onboard the aircraft and therefore cannot be 100% sure it will be allowed

It would have cost 60 bucks each way as "Sporting equipment" luckily the wife managed to get it diagonally on it's side in the one suitcase that we had with us. So It went as baggage.
