How has your day been?

Re: How has your day been?
I've had a mixed day. Centrelink and the Education rebate got up my nose this morning, seems that I'm going to miss out on it this year due to the system changing, so that's some money that I was counting on gone. However, day improved after that, as hastily got the housework done and spent a leisurely couple of hours reading my book outside watching and listenting to cane trains trundling back and forward. Mind you, I went off them a bit when I got held up by one on the way home from school as it went backwards and forwards over the level crossing.
More goodness to come though as I don't have to cook dinner tonight as it's just reheating last night's leftovers - whooop!

I'm not denying her essential nutrition in her weaken state but it's dashed poor form

I'd bear it more manfully if she didn't whine about "being sick" every 5 minutes AND eat all the ice cream 'for her sore throat'.
She seems to have enough energy to create the usual mini-rows with our daughter every 10 minutes or so.
I need that job ...

I had a pretty good nights sleep for me, expecting some news in this week which should stop keeping me awake at nights.
Just having a bowl of porridge, then I shall make a cuppa and see how the day pans out.

Had the third blood test to find out what is going on with all this borderline pregnancy malarkey. They are also testing me for cancer.
No worries then.
Consoling myself with chocolate.

Fingers crossed everything is OK, do you know when you will get the blood results in?

It was school sports day for me so lots of watching juniors running around having fun ... such a joyous noise. Glad it's over though
Still half a bottle of decent Shiraz to the good, I think that won't last the night.

Oh my god, in the office there are chocolates that you can buy for $2 - I am so very tempted, really tempted to get some Freddo bars or whatever they are called, I love them.
Bloody hell this is serious willpower, I am hoping they will be old and stale and taste horrible.

Thanks everyone. I refuse to let myself worry about this, despite being a stress head. There is roughly a 1/10 chance I'm pregnant (though it would be a miracle- look out for strange stars in the sky and men on camels), a 1/5 chance it is cancer, a 1/5 chance it is the pituitary playing up, a 1/5 chance it is just my stupid body messing everyone about with menopause etc and a 1/5 chance it is an ovarian cyst. The other 1/10 chance is random and they won't know what is causing it, but it will all disappear.
Results should be in at the start of next week.
Wouldn't it be nice for once just to have a straightforward and curable health issue?
