Just been phoned by the neurologist's assistant. Apparently, last week's repeat blood test still shows borderline for pregnancy. Got to have ANOTHER one tomorrow.
What is going on??? No way am I pregnant, (the level should have risen if I was, not still be borderline) and if I was there would be a star rising in the east and wise men on camels coming to my door. I'm nearly 52 for goodness sake.
Anyway the drug trial I'm on will not let me continue unless I can get normal results, so I'm a bit stressed now. I can't afford to pay to see neurologists, and I don't want to have to go back to sticking needles in me all the time.![Thumb Down](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/thumbdown.gif)
So I have to take my pick of the following- a pituitary problem, cancer, ovarian cyst, or what I hope is the most likely, a false positive due to my fluctuating hormones. Hey ho.

Isn't this the case with the vast majority of threads on here? How IS the boobs/weather forecaster thread doing? ![Big Grin](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Anyway, back on-topic ... I have snared a second interview on Friday for a full-time position at a proper company with offices and everything.
So, the day is on the up. AND I still have half a bottle of decent Shiraz left.

Today I am a zombie. Finished work at 6am after a busy shift. Came home and slept for 4 hours (same as the day before) so now my head feels fuggy and I'm all dazed and confused.
Can't decide if I'm hungry or feel sick because I'm tired.
I had this nice idea that I'd go for a little run today but there's no way that's going to happen! I think I'll just doss around and then repeat as above when I go back to work at 10pm tonight

I'm so bored I could scream! Trapped at home for at least 2 more days and the old man won't let me do anything. I really just want to get started on my very long list of chores that need doing around here but every time I get up off the couch he's hovering like an overprotective parent.

I've had a mixed day. Centrelink and the Education rebate got up my nose this morning, seems that I'm going to miss out on it this year due to the system changing, so that's some money that I was counting on gone. However, day improved after that, as hastily got the housework done and spent a leisurely couple of hours reading my book outside watching and listenting to cane trains trundling back and forward. Mind you, I went off them a bit when I got held up by one on the way home from school as it went backwards and forwards over the level crossing.
More goodness to come though as I don't have to cook dinner tonight as it's just reheating last night's leftovers - whooop!
