How has your day been?

Re: How has your day been?
I've got 2 half bottles of wine left from Sunday's lunch party. How did that happen? Their days are numbered- well they will go off if I leave them.

Oh my god, in the office there are chocolates that you can buy for $2 - I am so very tempted, really tempted to get some Freddo bars or whatever they are called, I love them.
Bloody hell this is serious willpower, I am hoping they will be old and stale and taste horrible.

I just sneaked 2 pieces of forbidden potato into my porky lentil dinner. Already frowned at for the pork. He's out to exercise tonight and there's 1/3 bottle of wine in the fridge that I need to throw..................down my throat!!

It is only one glass. May have a coffee before he comes home, or make sure I'm in bed, teeth brushed! Hee hee.
To be fair I have taken DD to training tonight - dragging along 3 yr old son, then home again, cooked dinner and fed 3 yr old, then back out at 7ish with 3 yr old to pick her up, back again, coordinated bathtimes so one could eat and the other get to bed quicker.........all so He can go and exercise. I think it would be kinder on the 3 yr old to stay home but hey ho!
They are both in bed now and I know where there's chocolate too.....and I have recorded tripe to watch. BLISS!!!

I didnt have chocolate, but husband looked guilty when I got home as he had bought a nice pudding for after our tea, so we have had salmon/pasta, a cold beer and I think there is apple crumble to be served.
Tomorrow is going to be a trying/testing/difficult day so today must be allowable for a pig-out to compensate.

Good luck for tomorrow- er I mean today.
Just for once I don't have to do anything medical- touch wood.
A whole day of housework and gardening lies ahead, deep joy.

My day post-school-run will consist of laundry, grocery shopping (which I quite enjoy, perversely), cooking dinner and some job-related IT research.
I may do another school run later, it's only fair.

Oh yes, welcome to my world- apart from the IT research. I've still got wine left. Managed only one glass last night. In bed at 8:30!

Re: How has your day been?
My god it is cold in Perth this morning, 1 degree when I left the house at 6.50am, just having some porridge to warm myself up.
Dad is still in hospital, cant come home yet as he cant manage on his own and my sisters cant get time off work so feeling a bit guilty that I am so far away but I cant travel at the moment anyway for health reasons This is where the guilt trip really kicks in I guess.
Anyway, saw a lovely post on FB today about 'restoring faith in mankind' kind of thing, thought it would be shite but some really nice pics that made me smile.
So not a bad day so far.
