 You're struggling, I can see that. JG was talking about her daughter being at school from the age of 4 ish onwards. She has explained that she wasn't talking about Uni.

She was at school for 14 years...not university. She was 4 when she started school...left when she was 18.

Why does a mortgage broker need to know how many years of school you do?

It affects your credit worthiness, and is not a question prohibited by law. When so many questions are prohibited, all other questions are fair game.

I went to see a ENT doctor last week. One of the questions on the new patient form was about education? What the hell does that have to do with anything? Questions like that annoy the hell out of me? :frown:

Makes you wonder....

"Sorry, we can't perform that surgery because your GPA was only 3.0."

"The doctor will now see patients in the order of the highest educated. Those who dropped out of high school, please go to the back of the line"

I was saying to my son in the UK yesterday that when I get back, I'm going to go to the doctors just so I can say, "Good morning, my name is....... and I have an appointment with Dr........ " and then just go and sit in the waiting room. No forms, no insurance and no payment on the way out. And no bills after the payment at the doctor's office because the insurance company only covers so much of that particular procedure/visit/whatever.

Then you can go home and wait three years for your minor knee surgery because Big Brother has determined that you are not a priority. :sneaky:

Or is it the other way round....given that you need a Phd in Lies, Statistics and Medical Bills to actually understand what they are charging you, maybe they take the dummies first so they can rip 'em off easier?

At least you'll know that your doctor is recommending surgery because you really need it, and not because he fancies going on a cruise this summer.
