She's lucky. Her sister has moved out.

I can't be in the same room as my sister when she's eating. She eats with her mouth closed but still makes a heck of a racket. If she'd just give up celery and lettuce...

It's important to keep your mouth shut in case your pie falls out.

Yes, letting it fall out of your mouth and picking it up and putting it back in doesn't count as another pie.

This is one reason why we like to eat with the radio on...anything, classical music, whatever, is better than dead silence with crunching going on.

And nobody hears their own eating noises, only other peoples'...

Friends who post on their facebook wall to ask "if anyone knows anyone" when they need a job done in your line of work, and then go on to ask for the work to be done at "mates rates" :sneaky:

And then when you don't respond they send you a direct message a week later asking if you can help them out. :banghead:

I presume your rates are not published / fixed ... so you can always offer them a 'mates discount' off of some arbitrarily higher base rate.

That really is amazing! I've never understood how that worked before. The two images you provided are showing the same process, right - but this latter one is in more helpful color.

The problem with this 'machine stitch' is that the whole thing falls apart, literally, if either thread encounters just one break in the future, from wear or whatever. Is there any form of machine stitch that is less 'sensitive'?

Future Pet Peeve:

Driverless cars.... on motorway/freeway/in roundabout/anywhere...overtaking us Luddites in our jalopies.
Driverless cars approaching zebra marking when we want to cross the road

Kids mucking around making driverless cars stop at crossings because the car will know to stop if there is someone just waiting at the crossing.

Being forced to change passwords every x number of days.

Getting "A constraint violation occurred. Check the minimum password length, password complexity and password history requirements" message when you do change password, without telling you what their rules are, so you keep pecking away at it :/

I am already anticipating some fun myself as a driver getting inside the "exclusion zone" of driverless cars and seeing how they respond. :sneaky:
