If the tension is off, you get big loops on one side of the seam and the thread on the other side can be pulled out.

YOU-are brilliant!:thumbsup: It's the tension that matters.

I teach machine quilting classes. It's all about the tension.

Do you end on a 7th chord? Nothing creates tension like ending on a 7th chord.

Except perhaps a minor 9th with a flat 5th but that's probably getting too technical.

No, now it does .... and you can't usually tug on a loose thread and unpick the entire seem with one good yank.

"e" -> "a" ;)

Wanna do a trade? I'll teach you to machine quilt and you can teach me to play some chords.

I bought my wife a sewing machine for Christmas (she's wanted one for ages), I'm learning a lot in this thread just now :lol:

Playing chords is easy if you buy an autoharp ...

A benefit.

Sell the sizzle, not the steak.

Speaking of steak - people who eat with their mouths open. They should all the shot on sight.

Tiddler can hear people eat at a hundred paces, if they're doing it with their mouths open she loses the plot. :D
